What we know: two thugs are pursuing him, presumably to kill him. Frank believes he’s the only one to know Marcus's true identity.
	Det. Cole Malcolm Washington Appearance: Slim-but-muscular, broad-shouldered African-American man Age: 33 (born 1969) Occupation: Police Detective Employer: Santa Lorena Police Dept. Family: • Mother: Emerald Washington, 53 • Father: Andre Washington (died in 1986 at age 40) • Siblings: o Earl Washington, 19 Cole grew up in Santa Lorena and lives alone in an apartment at the Hill Valley Apartment complex in the working-class McDonough Park neighborhood. He has a German shepherd-mix dog named Winchester, so named because he was found near the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose. Cole’s father Andre was murdered in 1986. At 17, Cole vowed to avenge the murder, and he enrolled in the police academy immediately after graduating high school.
